Most frequent rule broken: While I love cursive, my natural handwriting is in ALL CAPS. I grew up with engineers (dad and brother) who have the most gorgeous writing in all caps. I tried really hard to emulate that.

Favorite inks: Finetec watercolors

Favorite pen: Rodger Mayeda makes my favorite pen. It’s hand-made of red tulipwood from Brazil and custom fits the Hunt 101.

Favorite nib: The vintage Blanzy 2552

Random Fun Fact: I'm a classical pianist with a solo piano album, Invisible.

I’m Serena. Doodler by day, scribbler by night.

I am super grateful to have worked on a variety of wonderful projects and have worked with some immensely talented and creative people. I believe in collaboration over competition, and my life's purpose is helping others achieve their goals and make an impact. I value perseverance, grit, commitment, and patience, and this diligent spirit has served as a major asset to me as an artist, musician (piano is my first love), and calligrapher.

I offer fine handwriting, engraving, and pointed pen calligraphy for live events for retail and corporate clients. I also offer calligraphy for envelopes, invitations, place cards, escort cards, poems, or vows. My most recent favorite project, however, is writing letters from Santa!
